In our mission to support the UMM Annual Conference Presidents the NACP has developed focused Initiatives to provide field support and resources. Current Initatives include:

PRAYER ADVOCATES
The end goal is to undergird every activity and individual through active prayer. Beginning with an elected National Prayer Advocate this initiative seeks to develop prayer leaders who facilitate, encourage and lead in prayer at every level and for every activity and need. Jurisdictions & Annual Conferences are encouraged to recruit Prayer Advocates who in turn are supported through the National Prayer Advocate. Training and coordinated activities are planned to equip these prayer warriors at every level.

MENS MINISTRY ADVOCATES
The General Commission on United Methodist Men is developing a Certification process to thoroughly equip men called to focus on supporting field ministry to men. This program includes extensive training, careful selection of called candidates and a managed certification to ensure each man is properly equipped to assist the local church in their Men’s activities.

JUSTICE MINISTRY
Ongoing needs exist to encourage and support active Justice Initiatives to serve the marginalized community. Guided by the UMC Book of Discipline and Social Principles this initiative serves the local and regional communities.
REVIVAL MINISTRY
Revival ministry creates activities and supports local church Revivals.
